Arcapita Cafe

We were engaged to design an airy, communal cafeteria space built to serve employees and their guests at the Arcapita Headquarters building in Bahrain Bay. Inspired by Islamic architectural details, we created and placed painted wooden screens throughout the area to define distinct zones and to serve as a bold, decorative accent. We varied the seating options to accomodate both diners coming in for a quick bite as well as those enjoying longer working lunches with clients. The neutral color palette is livened up with colorful art while the outdoor patio seating is simple and modern.
